Ivanovo Region
On 3 January, the battery commander of the 112th missile brigade of the Russian Armed Forces, Konstantin Nagayko, was blown up while on duty at his military unit in the town of Shuya, Ivanovo Region. Putin’s officer suffered severe shrapnel wounds. Nagayko was responsible for the use of Iskander missiles against Ukraine, including against civilians and for the killing of civilians in the village of Groza, Kharkiv region, where he struck a cafe during a wake. Nagayko suffered multiple fragmentary lesions to virtually all organs, in particular the brain – he had his skull trepanised.
Vyborg
In the morning of 9 January at about 05:10 Moscow time, a fire engulfed the main building of the fund for support of the Russian military “Vyborgsky Rubezh” at 39 Victory Avenue, Vyborg. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the fire spread over an area of 600 square metres. The organisation itself said that all the military property inside the building, including Rubezh’s inventory, was completely destroyed by the flames.
Rostov-on-Don
On the night of 12 January (according to other sources, 7 January), the car of a colonel of Putin’s army was burnt in Rostov-on-Don.
The burning of the car PEJO 207, licence plate number c540ok161 by unknown guerrillas took place in the yard of a residential building on Taganrogskaya Street. The owner of the car, Alexander Shutovsky, is the assistant commander of the Southern Military District for physical training. The arsonists have not been found.
Drones
If the number of guerrilla attacks on Putin’s infrastructure of war from the ground has decreased, the number of drone attacks is continuously increasing. Drones also attack targets that are very far from the front lines. We do not know who directly carried out these attacks; it is probably the result of co-operation between guerrilla movements inside Russia and the Ukrainian military.
On 8 January, there was a drone strike on an oil depot in Engels, Saratov region. This oil depot (belonging to Rosrezerv) is charged with storing fuel for the Engels-2 airbase. And the Engels-2 airbase is one of the main weapons of Putin’s military terror. It is where the Tu-95 and Tu-160 strategic bombers are based, which strike from a safe distance.
A massive UAV strike hit Putin’s Russian Federation on the night of 14 January. The attacks were reported by the telegram channel ASTRA.
In Seltso, Bryansk Oblast, a Bryansk chemical plant engaged in munitions production was hit.
Another oil depot was destroyed in Engels, Saratov Region; a refinery in Saratov was also set on fire.
A liquefied gas base in Kazan is on fire.
Fuel and industrial facilities in the Orel, Tula and Voronezh regions were also raided. Airports in Penza, Ulyanovsk, Kazan, Nizhnekamsk, Saratov, Kaluga, Izhevsk and Tambov were closed due to the threat of drone attacks.
According to the Rospartizan tg-channel, drones also breached the Transneft oil pumping station in Almetyevsk and the Taneko oil refinery in Nizhnekamsk (Tatarstan).
